Maintenance EngineerExperience: Minimum relevant experience should be at least 5 years as Maintenance Engineer Mechanical in IPPs.Qualification: Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.Job Location: nearby Lahore, PakistanJAs:1. Develops and co-ordinates plant activities related to maintenance.2. Assigns preventive and corrective maintenance jobs as per the direction of Plant Maintenance Engineer. Supervises and co-ordinates activities of maintenance staff.3. Plans and inspects completed work on plant equipment.4. Maintains records, prepares reports and composes correspondence relative to work.5. Acquires considerable knowledge of the process and the relevant mechanical, instrument & control and electrical system throughout the plant and applies the same to troubleshoot problems and leads the maintenance team in resolving the issue.6. Trains and supervises subordinates on preventive and corrective maintenance.7. Communicates effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.8. Maintains favorable public relations.9. Executes work order and co-ordinates with plant Technicians (Mechanical) for job completion and technical matters.10. Helps Plant Maintenance Engineer in planning and scheduling outage works with due regard to annual scheduled maintenance plan.11. Assesses plant needs for spare parts & supplies and generates material requisitions.12. Co-ordinates with Stores and Procurement for stock inventory.13. Acquires full knowledge of EHS policies & procedures and ensures compliance.14. To monitor and take measures to maintain the system chemistry of water systems including Boiler chemistry within the prescribed Limits2. To analyse raw water, Wastewater, water treatment plant output according to applicable standards and to maintain chemistry of wastewater, boiler water and Water treatment plant, Cooling Tower and close cooling system according to the standards and as required by the regulatory authorities.3. To operate the water treatment plant whenever required (production / regeneration)4. To take and analyse periodic samples of lubricants, fuel oil, fuel gas, etc, whenever required.5. To manage inventory of all type of chemicals used at plant site.6. To maintain personal protection equipment (chemical suits, respirators etc)7. To supervise unloading of all chemicals supplied by the vendors.8. To understand OH&S risks / hazards and environmental / legislative aspect / impacts related to work activities.9. To issue Confined Space Entry, Gas Free Certificate etc., as and when required under the Plant Safety rules for on-going jobs.10. To manage all the plant hazardous chemical waste in accordance with plant EHS policy. 11.
